Why was the redesign needed?

The brand already had a working Shopify store travel bags and backpacks.

The main challenge was not to relocate or relaunch, but to update the design and structure of the existing store.

It was necessary to divide the assortment more clearly, show the differences between the models, highlight the sets and better reveal the features of the products.

The catalogue, orders, clients, domain and payment infrastructure did not need to be changed.

What's changed

  1. Home

    We updated the first screen and the structure of the main page.

  2. Catalog

    We divided the assortment by purpose: Travel Bags, Day Bags, Accessories and a general catalogue.

  3. Comparison of models

    In blocks with popular products, we added the main differences between the models.

  4. Sets

    We highlighted sets of goods and the mechanics of a 15% discount on the set. The mechanics of the sets are designed to increase the average bill.

  5. Materials and production

    We added a separate block with information about production, materials, packaging and repair program.

  6. Mobile

    We adapted the new structure and cards for smartphones.

  7. Publish

    We compiled a new version using a copy of the theme, tested it and published it without stopping the existing store.

We divided the assortment by purpose to make it easier to find the right model.

When redesigning, we do not create a new store and do not transfer data. Products, orders, customers, domain and payments remain in place. The design and structure of the pages of the existing website are changing.
No. We assemble the new version using a copy of the theme, test it and publish it when everything is checked. The existing store continues to accept orders.
